The Carvel/Mooney Classroom Implement A Work-Based Learning Program At South Lewis

Some big things happening down in the Carvel/Mooney classroom!

As part of our life skills curriculum, they have implemented a Work-Based Learning Program right here at school! The class currently has two students who work for Mr. Fuller in the cafeteria. They do jobs such as prepping the veggie cups, prepping breakfast trays, prepping for lunch, and gathering the apples for lunches.

Two more students are assisting Mrs. Monks in the library, taking apart Legos from competitions and sorting them for re-use.  As part of this program, they also earn a "paycheck", which they can cash at our classroom bank, and, in turn, can spend their cash at the classroom store, "Market 326".

Congrats to these hard-working students!
