March is the observance of Music In Our Schools Month® (MIOSM®) and this year the South Lewis Senior Band was selected to perform at the NYS Capitol on Wednesday, March 27! MIOSM® is the time of year when music education becomes the focus of schools and communities across the nation, raising awareness of the importance of music education for all children.

We couldn't be prouder that our music program and students were selected to be part of this opportunity. We as a

community value what school music brings to students of all ages and are blessed to have the ability to provide it to our children.
