Congratulations to our Middle School and High School Odyssey of the Mind teams for winning first place! Both are heading to States on April 5th. Additional congratulations to Abby for receiving the Ranatra Fusca Award, rarely given at Regionals, for her outstanding talent as the HS team's seamstress and main prop creator, AND to our High School team on their OMER's Award for their demonstrated sportsmanship. The National Junior Honor Society travels to Port Leyden's food pantry at St. Martin Catholic Church, with its nonperishable Festive Food Drive haul. Thanks to all the middle school classrooms' participation, the NJHS was able to deliver over 700 food items to the pantry that serves local families in need. Thank you to all who made this possible!

4th Grade Cross Country run stats are in! It was a great effort by all. Your top female finishers were 1 Ariana P. 4:51, 2 Harper S. 5:07, 3 Gwen E. 5:21,
and the top male finishers were 1 Cohen T., 5:07, 2 Liam D. 5:32, and 3 Jacob W. 5:39. Mrs. Paulsen's class won overall... see pictures below for information on all participants.






Young Falcons, big and small, ran their hearts out last Thursday night! (See attached for results and a picture or two.) We will be back in action this Thursday, September 26, so bring your favorite Pre-K through 6-grade runner and get caught up in the fun. Registration begins at 5:00 p.m., and your heart swelling with Falcon Pride begins soon after that. Hope to see you there!





Week 1 of Falcons on the Run 800 meter & 1000 meter races were lightning rounds as the kids burned up the course! Wowwee, the future looks bright for the South Lewis running program.
