Congratulations to Gabreille Gardner and Hunter Nagy who were named April Students of the Month in the South Lewis High School. Both of these students know the importance of treating everyone according to the Golden Rule of Respect. Gabby is a sophomore who is actively pursuing her interest in Food Science. Hunter is a senior who is pursuing attending college after graduation in June. Congratulations to both of these kind and fine South Lewis Falcons!

Last night, he following 18 South Lewis Seniors were inducted into The Morgan Lewis Chapter of the National Honor Society: Kallie Bauter, Jayden Denslow, Haley Dolan, Aubree Domagala, Harleigh Dorrity, Abbigail Durgan, Christopher Higby, Hannah Ielfield, Brenna Kenyon, Matthew Liddiard, Lauren Mashaw, Lauren McGuire, Grace Mear, Madison Munn, Robert Newell II, Sophia Sabatini, Briar Schweinsberg, and Olivia Weiss. Congratulations to these Class of 2021 members as they count down the days until graduation! Go NHS Falcons!

Please see a letter dated 4.21.21 from Superintendent Douglas Premo regarding instructional model changes for in-person instruction. The MS/HS will not have any changes. However, a change is possible at the Glenfield and Port Leyden Elementary Schools if certain required conditions are met.

Port Leyden Elementary student, Kaidlynn LaFountain placed 1st in the Greater Thousand Islands Literacy Council writing contest. Izabella Lewis, also from Port Leyden Elementary placed 3rd. Both students won ribbons and books for their accomplishments. Congratulations ladies!!

Congratulations to Ella Sherman and Blake Wojnar who have been named March's High School Students of the Month. Ella, a sophomore, shines like the country sun with her open and honest temperament. Blake, aka "The Woj", Wojnar, is a cheerful and comical member of the Class of 2021; when he graduates, we will miss him (and really great hair). We look forward to bright futures for both of these South Lewis students.
