Governor Cuomo has announced that schools will remain closed through the end of the current 2019-20 school year. Remote Learning will continue through the end of the year. More information will be forthcoming in the coming weeks. Be well and be safe.

DRIVER EDUCATION (SUMMER SCHOOL)
At this point, Driver Education is scheduled to take place at the South Lewis MS/HS Campus from July 1, 2020, to August 12, 2020.
If you are interested, you must register with Mrs. Bronson by phone 315-348-2530, via email tbronson@southlewis.org, or through Family ID (link will available April 22 through May 15).
YOU MUST BE A PERMITTED DRIVER IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE.
Attention all students! Expect delivery of the second round of educational materials tomorrow morning. Seventeen South Lewis buses will be on the roads and coming to your neighborhood with everything you need to stay sharp. Wear your Falcon gear and stay #SLStrong (like our favorite red bird)!

Congratulations to two Port Leyden Elementary students for their achievements in the Great Thousand Islands Literacy Council Writing Contest. Caitlyn Chihocki from Mrs. Rockwood’s classroom finished 1st place and Lila Kingston-Carvel from Mrs. Kemney’s class room finished 2nd place . Great job ladies!!!
Sitework continues on the Falcons middle/high school campus. Dirt is moving, roads are emerging, Burrows Trucking is making the grade. Most importantly, SOUTH LEWIS IS STILL STANDING STRONG. #SLStrong

Yesterday, the South Lewis Meal Delivery Crew once again dispatched food troops to drop off breakfast and lunch to students who are on the front line of education at home. Seen here are administrators, teachers, and cafeteria staff working side by side (while maintaining safe distance) to load up the buses.
