Scenes from "The Wedding Singer": The boys talk it out with "Robbie" (Elijah Lohr), the girls debate it with "Julia" (Katherine Vito), and the ensemble dances it off with ... everyone.

"The Wedding Singer" continues production as the South Lewis high school cast rehearses songs with Sophia Sabatini, Elijah Lohr, Izabelle Liendecker, and Dublin Moore. Right now they all look like typical 2020 teens. Can't wait to see how they transform into 1980s characters!

This group of South Lewis high school students were among the guests at The Elks Club Father/Daughter dinner last night. Many thanks to Mr. Brown, our counselors -- Mrs. Burmingham & Ms. Green, and the organizers at The Elks Club. The young ladies are South Lewis Strong!

COVID-19: Guidance Update
New guidance has been released where the NYS Dept. of Health (NYSDOH) requires an initial 24-hour closure when a student or staff member attended school prior to being confirmed as a COVID-19 case. During this initial 24-hour period the school shall take steps to clean and disinfect the school while the NYSDOH conducts an investigation to determine the contacts the individual may have had within the school community. The school must then take direction from the NYSDOH about continued closure, opening or other potential actions.
At this time there are no confirmed or suspected cases within our school community.

The Jr. Falcon Baseball/Softball clinic concluded last night. We had 38 young athletes and 12 coaches. We hope everyone enjoyed the experience and enhanced their knowledge and skills at the same time.

After an evening at JCC for the Frontier League Girls' Basketball Exceptional Senior Event, these sisters, Zoey and Chloe Hunziker, pause for a minute to relish the moment. Coach Martin says that these girls and their dedication, determination, & hard work will be dearly missed.

Congratulations to last week’s Random Acts of Kindness students at Port Leyden Elementary!

We had our Out of My Mind closing assembly today. Thank you to Ryan and Walter Berwick for joining us!
