This tractor-driving trio was presented with certificates of appreciation for stirring up a little dust on Spirit Day! Thanks, gentlemen, for keeping alive this South Lewis tradition. Pictured: Jordan Brown, Caleb Metzler, and Christopher Highby.

Have you seen this educator? Thankfully, he isn't missing; he's right here in the high school halls making a difference in the lives of our students EVERY DAY. Mr. Dan Shannon, History teacher and trivia master, "gets kids involved in the community and caring about the environment." Thank you, Mr. Shannon.

On Saturday, after a week of competition in the Community Cup challenge, Team South Lewis rose to the top and once again claimed the cup for the second consecutive year. Thanks to Mrs. VanBrocklin and to Mr. Gibson for organizing the team and strategizing the win! Go FALCONS!

This past Saturday, the SL Volleyball players organized and hosted the annual recreational tournament. Though fewer players than in other years, there was plenty of laughter and good clean fun to pass around. Coaches Gino, Lemieux, and McCall are ACES in our scorebook.

Glenfield Characters of the Week

Update on the South Lewis Community Cup Team: First in the free throw competition with the all-star hoopster combination of Chad Brown, Jana Brown, Marcy McGuire, and Chris Villiere. The Badminton players took 3rd! and in the Home Run Derby, the group tied for 4th. Swing away, SL!

Yesterday, the High School Book Club had the opportunity to video chat with award-winning author Neal Shusterman! Thank you, Mrs. Monks, for using South Lewis technology to make real-world connections with real live writers. Such an amazing opportunity for our students.

Last night, the South Lewis Community Cup Team fought hard on the volleyball court. While the team wasn't at the top of the standings at the end of the night, the Community Cup still runneth over with Falcon spirit!

Glenfield Characters of the Week!

The South Lewis Community Cup Team kicked off the Community Cup competition last night with a THIRD PLACE FINISH at the bowling alley. The team hopes to bowl over the competition as it defends the title of Community Cup Champion.

There are no words.

This super-strong South Lewis faculty team is about to school these members of the Sophomore Class in an age-old game of tug of war. It is, after all, a game of strength and wits, young friends. Start working on your strategy for next year.

Glenfield Spring Concert! That’s all K-4 students singing together!

Drive Your Tractor to School Day. Andrew Higby-youngest student, biggest tractor, most horsepower!!

Say "Cheese"! It's the Spirit Day Cheesy Toss on the South Lewis Track earlier today. Is the winner the team with the best cheesy wig or the biggest cheesy smile? It's a toss up here!

Travel through time with these "Way-Back Wednesday" photos. "Queen" Guinevere and her Court of Roman Goddesses. Some Old West Cowpokes from the 1880s spend some time with some Valley Girls from the 1980s. So what if there are a few historical inaccuracies? It's Falcon Fashion Fun!

It's "Drive-Your-Tractor-to-School Day" at South Lewis - a long-standing Spirit Day tradition that never gets old. Many thanks to the students who proudly motor these machines through the pasture and down the road. The country spirit here at South Lewis is pure gold!

No, you don't need to check your eyesight. On Tuesday there was lots of double vision (or was it double trouble?) during "Twin Day" in the high school. Thanks, Mrs. Delles, for organizing this spirit-filled week of fun-tivities.

Recently, members of the South Lewis FFA program spent a few days in Syracuse at the New York State Convention. This group is always motivated to do great things, and Miss Humphrey is a role model beyond compare.
