On Saturday, the Varsity Cross Country Teams competed in Wappingers Falls. Collin Stafford and Noah Edick placed 15th & 27th, respectively, and the Boys' Team placed 11th in the toughest race of the day. The Girls' Team placed 2nd behind North Rockland. Way to race, Falcons!

The SL FACS (Family and Consumer Science) group recently spent the day picking apples. "If a GOOD teacher deserves an apple, Mrs. Vargo deserves the WHOLE ORCHARD." Thanks for all that you do, Mrs. Vargo.

Embracing the theory that "a bad day of golf always beats a good day of work," our high school PE teachers are taking their work on the road to nearest golf course, Turin Highlands. The young golfers pictured here are grateful and really driving home the point. Not bad, fellas!
The Hoffman Twins, Madelyn and Amelia, are South Lewis Strong after Amelia broke her own 100m backstroke record earlier this week. Thanks so much to the local dairy princesses for handing out chocolate milk to keep all of our young athletes powerful.
