Last night five South Lewis Seniors, Vashta Smith, Brooke Everson, Kdedra Grabowski, Morgan Feisthamel, and Alicia Williams, were honored for their contributions to the Girls' Athletic Program. These ladies always have the competition on the run in Track & Field, and now it's a race to the finish of their high school careers.
Aimee Craddock, a Class of 2019 member, recently brought home a 1st Place Award from the SkillsUSA New York State Competition in Syracuse. Aimee, a Visual Communications II student at BOCES, recieved the award for her visionary work in the Promotional Bulletin Board contest. Way to envision a win, Aimee! WE see a bright future for YOU.
This impressive group of young people represents the whole South Lewis contingent of The Morgan Lewis Chapter of the National Honor Society. Congratulations to the CLASS OF 2019 members who, after graduation, are sure to share with the world their gifts of leadership, service, and high moral character. These two delightful educators, Emily Burke (in red) and Ashley Schneider (in black), are recent recipients of the high school's Thoughtful Thursday Award. Mrs. Burke leads her English students through texts and prose like a pro, while Mrs. Schneider waves a wand of wonder as a math-magician!

The South Lewis Falcon Credit Union is student-run and open every Tuesday and Friday. The name of winning member will be drawn on May 28th.

What's better than a morning run? A WARM morning run. Enjoying the mild Florida weather, this group of SL Track & Field athletes didn't take a break during spring break. While in Orlando, Coach Durgan met these dedicated (and sleepy) runners at 6 a.m. to train with them. WOW!
