On April 5th, Mrs. Gronowski and Mr. McCall traveled with students selected to perform in the Bi-County Concert held at Indian River Central School. Congratulations to the middle school vocalists and to the high school instrumentalists who were among the county's musical elite.
Where in the world are our South Lewis musicians today? Right now this troupe of high school band members is returning from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, where they rocked the CityWalk Lagoon Stage. Thank you, Mr. McCall, for orchestrating this spring break experience.
This amazing group of talented seniors, who attended the NHS banquet on Thursday night, also recently raised funds for the South Lewis Backpack Program. The program provides nutritious food for area families in difficult financial situations. Call Kathie Watson to donate today.

More NHS news: in the South Lewis Middle School, the National Junior Honor Society recently started the Falcon Food Locker program to nourish students after school and before sports practice. Thanks to Senorita Davidson and the NJHS students for organizing this important service.
Yesterday the SL National Honor Society organized a Blood Drive for the American Red Cross. These honorable members, Jaquelyn Skorupa and Elizabeth McGuire, cheerfully greet the donors while Mr. Gibson awaits his turn to break the land speed record for blood donation.
