This, friends, is the future of our farming community ....
"Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve"
Based on this spectacular photo, the future looks pretty bright, don't ya think?

Nothing runs like a Deere.... and these students know it! Megan Klossner, JP Cavanaugh, and the Sherman siblings - Ella & Carl - are the envy of all with their fine farm machinery in John Deere green.

Now in the "Red Tractor Division" we have "Antique Red" with Mason Krokowski, "Orange Red" with Matt Marks, "Really Red" with Andrew Higby, and "What We Think Used to Be Some Other Color and is Now Rusty Red" with Steven Kirkbride. Thanks, fellas, for showing us some tractor diversity!

First on the scene this morning were the Maciejko boys -- MacCoy in the White, Aiden with the John Deere, and Justice with the backhoe tractor. What a perfect morning for a family reunion.

It's a bird's-eye view from atop The South Lewis Falcon's Nest (a.k.a. "the school"). For the final day of Spirit Week, high school students were invited to participate in "Drive-Your-Tractor-to-School Day". Today is a celebration in true Falcon fashion and mode, and this parking lot (filled with farm machinery of all makes, colors, sizes, and functions) represents just one of the reasons we love our school and community. Thanks to all for keeping in focus what matters most - our students! Go Falcons.

Don't forget to RSVP for the Varsity Athletic Awards Banquet! Tickets are available in the Athletic Office until Tuesday May 31st.

Those smiles prove that you CAN have fun during your workout...and you will, with coaches like Mr. Baird and Mrs. Liendecker. Thanks to Coach Liendecker for submitting this photo of some of our modified track stars. Good luck in the final few days of your season!

The Middle School Book Fair will be open an extra day on Monday, May 16th from 8:00-2:50 for anyone who wasn’t able to purchase books last week!

Congratulations to Nathalie Farr and Wyatt Staring who were named April's High School Students of the Month. These students represent the qualities that "count" in our young people and that will add up to great futures. We look forward to watching these students as they continue to grow through their high school years and to seeing all of the positive ways they will contribute to our community. Congratulations to both.

A group of the South Lewis Class of 2022 members was loaded up and on the road bright and early this morning. The bus is southbound and headed for the sunny beaches of Virginia. We hope that you enjoy the surf, turf, and everything in between and thank Mr. and Mrs. Brown for rolling down the highway with these young travellers. Enjoy the adventures and make lasting memories.

Today, senior Abigail Main shot a perfect 50 while participating in the archery unit during PE class -- something that rarely ever happens! Way to give it a shot and overcome the drawbacks, Abi!
