Congrats to the members of the varsity XC team who competed at the pre-state meet in Plattsburgh on Saturday! Noah Edick & Collin Stafford led the boys to a 13th place finish. The girls team raced to a 3rd place finish with Lexi Bernard, Brynn Bernard & Hannah Ielfield in the top 5. All other SL runners fiinished with personal bests!
This afternoon the great South Lewis outdoors was filled with Falcons working hard on the football field and waiting patiently for bus-driving “chauffeurs”. A big red thank you to the transportation department for safely delivering athletes to matches, meets, and games. GO TEAM!
Today Miss Humphrey and her students took advantage of nature's bounty and pressed locally harvested apples into some deliciously tart cider. This ag teacher and FFA leader doesn't deserve an apple; she deserves the WHOLE tree. Another example of how we grow strong SL students!
