And in South Lewis sports .... The Girls' Swim Team opened the season with a seven-team scrimmage on Friday. The Soccer field hosted the Lady Falcons on Friday afternoon and the Boys' Varsity team Saturday morning.

Glimpses of days gone by: These SL grads from the past strategize for the P2B relay earlier this month. 2017 XC alumni, Morgan Seller"s", Kyle "Fast"gerald, and "Double D" Dylan Durgan, develop a race plan while "Trooper" John looks on. Kyle thinks this "hat" will help him achieve max speed. Hmm.
Welcome, Kari Gehrke! Miss Gehrke has joined the Falcon Team as Port Leyden Elementary's PE Teacher. She's kicking off the 2019-2020 year as the JV Girls' Soccer Coach. We hope that South Lewis helps Coach Gehrke achieve all of her GOALS!
It's good old-fashioned summer fun when Lachlan McAleese and Varick LeVan spend time fishing on area lakes and ponds. It looks like these boys are reely hooked on this pastime!

These 5th grade KidsKampers JUMP FOR JOY after their visit to Hamilton College (a private liberal arts school in Clinton, New York) where they learned about the facility, student life, campus culture, academics, and other Hamilton programs. It looks like they enjoyed the tour!

Another perfect and rain-free day for KidsKamp 5th graders at Beaver Camp on Tuesday! So many wonderful memories for this group. Today the students are headed to Hamilton College!
Last week, the Town of Greig concluded its Summer Recreation Program with South Lewis students. The program directors and volunteers spent time leading more than 100 students through arts & crafts, games in the gymnasiums, nature hikes, and swimming lessons. They are probably summer recuperating now!
Mr. Bradish and Mrs. Whalen put the "CHALLENGE" in "Challenge Week" as they push these 8th grade students to the limit and raise them to new heights at Beaver Camp and at Colgate University. Talk about dedication and perseverance: this week these educators spend time with 5th graders!
